
Reducing Homelessness Through Cooperation
The Homeless Resource Council of the Sierras is a private, nonprofit partnership that ensures comprehensive, regional coordination of efforts and resources to reduce the number of homeless persons as well as the number at risk of homelessness. It is a coalition of shelter providers, consumers, advocates, and government representatives that are working together to shape planning and decision-making.
Our Mission
To lead, collaborate, coordinate, develop, and implement strategies and resources to end homelessness in Nevada and Placer Counties.
Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
HMIS is a locally administered, electronic data collection tool used to record and store client-level information about the numbers, characteristics, and needs of persons who use homeless housing and supportive services as well as homelessness prevention services.
