
Ending Homelessness Through Partnership
The Homeless Resource Council of the Sierras (HRCS) is a 501(C)3 that ensures comprehensive, regional collaboration and coordination of efforts and resources to reduce the number of persons experiencing homelessness as well as the number at-risk of experiencing homelessness in Placer and Nevada County. HRCS is a coalition of shelter providers, consumers, advocates, and government representatives that are working together to shape planning and decision making alongside the continuums of care in Placer and Nevada Counties.
Our Mission
To lead, collaborate, coordinate, develop, and implement strategies and resources to end homelessness in Nevada and Placer Counties.
Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
HMIS is a locally administered, electronic data collection tool used to record and store client-level information about the numbers, characteristics, and needs of persons who use housing and supportive services as well as homeless prevention services.
